Our Lady of Good Health or Our Lady of Vailankanni can be traced to three 16th-century miracles that happened in Tamil Nadu, India. Oral tradition tells us that Mary appeared to a shepherd boy, cured a sick child, and rescued Portuguese sailors from a violent storm. The Basilica of Our Lady of Good Health in Vailankanni welcomes millions of visitors every year.
