Our Lady of La Vang is a Vietnamese Apparition and Devotion. She appeared around 1800 to a group of christians who were seeking refuge in the jungle after being persecuted for their beliefs. They began to pray the rosary at the foot of a great tree, when Our Lady appeared to them. She comforted them and told them to boil leaves from the tree to help cure the illness they had incurred by living in the jungle.
